Hey there, wonderful clients! I'm thrilled you chose Kopfkino Photography for your upcoming session. As your trusted photographer, I want to ensure that your experience is nothing short of amazing. To help you get fully prepared, I've crafted a comprehensive pre-shoot checklist. Let's dive in!

Connect with Me

If you haven't already, make sure to submit an inquiry form or get in touch with me via phone or email. The questions on the inquiry form help me get a good understanding of your shoot needs so, even if you contact me first, I'll probably ask you to submit an inquiry form as well!

Nail Down the Details

Every photoshoot is unique when it comes to location, occasion, and expectations (hey, that kind of rhymes, hehe). After we connect, I'll be reaching out to you so we can establish a date, time, location, and package level.

Secure Your Spot

To lock in your session, I require a 20% deposit, which is deducted from your total shoot amount. There is no hard date for when you need to pay your deposit. However, until you pay your deposit, your date and time remain open for others to reserve. This step is crucial as it guarantees your slot and lets us focus solely on creating stunning images for you.

Curate Your Wardrobe

Selecting your outfit is key. Opt for attire that aligns with the shoot's theme and your personal style. Remember, comfort equals confidence, so go for clothes that make you feel fantastic. Also, keep in mind where you will be taking your pictures (if you're going to have a busy background, opt for simple attire) and what others are wearing. If your significant other is wearing stripes, you probably don't want to wear polka dots.

Accessorize Thoughtfully

Accessories can elevate your look. From stylish hats to statement jewelry, these details add character to your photographs. But remember, less can often be more!

Gather Your Props

Even though I don't supply props most of the time, I encourage you to bring your own! Whether it's a cherished memento or a playful item that holds significance, props can lend an extra layer of depth to your images.

Location & Logistics

Familiarize yourself with the shoot location and any parking arrangements. If there's a change of outfit planned, think about where you can comfortably change. A smooth logistics plan sets the stage for a stress-free session.

Pose Research

As soon as most people book a session, they run to Pinterest to get ideas for posing - and that's ok! I will do my best to guide you through the shoot, giving you direction on how to pose but it's always fun when you have ideas as well. Spend a little time researching poses that resonate with you and remember, not all poses have to be "traditional". If you want some with silly faces, doing a cartwheel, or anything in between, let's do it! Having a few poses in mind might also ease your nerves if you're a little camera-shy.

Your photography session is more than just a shoot; it's a collaborative experience. By following this checklist, you're setting the stage for a smooth and enjoyable session. Remember, I'm here to help, guide, and make sure you look and feel your best in front of the lens. Get excited, because together, we're about to capture memories that will last a lifetime!
